Week 6 - Weekly Update

More of the same...

Not much in terms of the update today. It seems that the leagues are all ready to go back to competitive matches and resume some competition in the form of league tables/standings.

With that being said, we would like to remind every one of our participants to focus on the 3 core values of Totally Netball - Friendly, Fun, Competitive

Every person participating in our leagues has different motivations and different reasons for playing netball - the one reason on everyone's list is to have fun. Therefore, we want to ensure that after every game, every player (and umpire) walks off the court, win or lose, saying that they enjoyed themselves.

With a very important week coming up next week (see more info below), we ask that we ALL really focus on having fun and doing our best to help others have fun.

2021 Tournaments

More tickets have been snapped up this week and there are limited spaces left for teams.

REMEMBER - hopefully by this point, restrictions will have been lifted and "normality" will resume. What better way to celebrate then by playing in a fun tournament and getting the family to come down and support you whilst having a great day too.

This year's tournament is going to be the biggest yet with the following happening on the day:

  • Tournament Prizes

  • Raffles

  • Professional Photography

  • Food, Drink (perhaps a sneaky gin bar too) & Ice Creams

  • Bouncy Castle

  • Face Painting

  • Caricatures

  • Stalls

More information on these will be announced soon.

Head over to our tournaments page on our website to get your team booked on - https://www.totallynetball.co.uk/tournaments

Mental Health Awareness Week

Next week is the start of Mental Health Awareness Week 2021 with the theme being nature.

"There is something to be wondered at in all of Nature" - Aristotle

To show our support and to help raise awareness of mental health we will be focusing a lot of our social posts around mental health awareness and nature.

More information about how you can get involved, top tips and also Q&A's can be found on the link below:

Feedback

An umpires comment about two of the matches last week:

"Thanks for giving Judith and I 2 lovely games to umpire. Some good skills and played with a super netball spirit."

Reviews

We are always looking for ways to help with our online presence and last week we introduced our Trust Pilot profile. This week we want to give the option for our participants to review on any of the following 3 platforms (click on the one where you want to leave a review):

Trust Pilot

Google

Facebook

Thank you to all those who have already left a review - it all helps

As always, thank you every single one of our participants, coordinators, umpires and families that support Totally Netball. You guys are the best and we are very lucky to have you as part of our family!

Enjoy the weekend.
